The 7th China Safety and Protection Textile Clothing Industry Innovation and Development Forum, hosted by the China Industry Textile Association, was held at the Jianguo Hotel in Xi’an on May 26, 2023. The theme of this forum was “Technology Empowers Digital Efficiency and Green Development.” The forum discussed hot topics such as innovative and applied functional new materials for safety and protection textiles, the high-quality development of China’s safety and protection textile industry, technology for firefighter personal protective equipment, the research and application of flame retardant cellulose fibers, functional design for occupational workwear innovation and upgrade, performance requirements for individual protective clothing used in mining rescue operations, the research and application of high-voltage electricity operation protection materials, the application of reflective materials in safety and protection clothing, and the safety protection application of multifunctional nanofiber respiratory membranes. HYPROOF Technology participated in this forum as a supporting unit.

Dr. Wu Huisheng, the Chairman of HYPROOF Technology, delivered a speech on the safety and protective applications of multifunctional nano-fiber respiratory membranes. HYPROOF Technology’s functional fabric products have many advantages, such as high waterproofness, high breathability, high moisture permeability, high strength, high flame retardancy, antibacterial and antiviral properties, UV resistance, and aging resistance, and are widely used in the field of safety and protection.

During the forum, leaders from relevant ministries and industry associations visited HYPROOF Technology’s booth to provide guidance. The main leaders included the Director of the Consumer Goods Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the President of the China Industrial Textile Industry Association, and the Vice President of the China Textile Industry Federation. They inspected HYPROOF  Technology and fully affirmed their high-performance membrane products. They suggested that these products could be widely promoted in the military, police, firefighting, and consumer textile industries and hoped that good membrane materials could promote technological innovation and industrial development for the entire industry.
